RTI - Right to Information Act allows any Indian citizen to get information from the government. RTI act is applicable to all 29 states and 7 union territories.

* Get your property documents.
To summarize, RTI can be used to get any information recorded with any government office or clear any personal work pending with government office. There are some exceptions like one cannot ask anything which is a thread to national security or is very personal to a person.
