How to Make A Map in Minecraft Mod Apk to Keep Track of Your Location and World

Tools and ingredients for your map

Both base maps and locator maps require specific tools and ingredients. We have listed them below along with screenshots in case you are new to Minecraft Mod Apk.

1. Crafting or Crafting a Workbench and a Furnace: Without either of these two items, you can't craft anything at all. * Make a crafting table. Use 4 planks of any type (Oak, Crimson, etc.).

2. Cut 9 sugar canes. Look for stems near water in a swamp or desert biome and chop them down with any tool.

3. Place your crafting table on the ground and interact with it to open the 3X3 crafting grid.

4. Make 9 sheets. Placing 3 sugar canes in the middle row of the crafting grid will make 3 paper.

5. Make a compass. Place 1 Redstone dust in the center of the 3X3 grid, and 4 iron blocks in adjacent blocks. *Redstone dust can be mined from Redstone ore with an iron pickaxe (or something stronger). To craft iron ingots, craft a furnace and smelt iron ore.

6. Place your compass in the middle of the crafting grid, then place 8 pieces of paper in all remaining squares. *In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, you can use 9 paper to make an empty map. To add position markers, you need to use them with the compass on the cartography table.

7. You now have an empty locator map that you can add to your inventory. Equip and use the map, then walk around to fill it up.

Other Ways to Get Maps in Minecraft Mod Apk

Maps can be purchased from the Cartographer for 8 Emeralds or found in Shipwrecks, Garrison Libraries, and Cartographer's Chests. To make a cartographer, place a cartography table in front of a villager with no occupations.

In Bedrock Edition, there is an easier way to make maps using a cartography table. Place 1 sheet of paper on a cartography table to create an empty map. For an empty locator map, combine a piece of paper and a compass. When you create a world, enable Start Maps under World Preferences to start with a map you already have in your inventory.

How to activate the map

To use a map, you need to activate it, and activating a map is a simple process. Once you've got the map, all you need to do if you're playing on a console is press the left trigger and the map will activate. If you're playing on a PC, just right-click to activate the map.

How to upgrade the map

After making a map, it starts at level 0 and you can upgrade it all the way to level 4. The higher the level of the map, the more land it covers in the active area. To upgrade the map, you need to build a cartography table. All items needed to prepare a cartography table are listed below, along with screenshots showing recipe placement.

Once you're done, go to the cartography table and place the map in the upper left corner and a piece of paper in the lower left corner. You should see "Zoom out and clear" in the center, and on the right, you'll see the map, and below the map, it will say it's over 4. Grab the map on the right and it will level up. To get the map to the highest level, just keep putting it on the paper until you reach level 4 and reach the highest level.
